Anyone that knows me, probably knows that I am everything Nike. I live the brand probably more than most of their employees do. Almost every piece of sports equipment I own, shirt or shoe I wear carries the swoosh.
People also know I like to tell stories of my life and my son and I'm a web deisgner. The thought of creating a blog seemed like a perfect trio. No one has ever called me short-winded, introverted or long to let silence hang over a room. However, there were several parts within me which had doubts. Who would want to read stories that I tell? What if I say something to embarass my wife or son? (I embarass myself on a regular basis, that never stops me.) What if no one likes it?
Lately my courage level has been rising, and friends new and old have started hinting that they would read and support my page. Ideas have started to flow, designs and themes started entering my head when I would try to sleep. I think of leads and teases to stories in the shower (sorry, probably too much information.) Then, while picking out my clothes for the day, which Nike item to wear, the little voice inside my head spoke those three little words...Just Do It.
So here it is, not the best blog in the world, (hopefully not the worst.) Heck if it's about my son, everyone loves my son. I hope that the movies/photos bring a smile to your day, the stories to be palatable, and fine the site easy to use. I appreciate all comments, and hope you choose to enjoy the ride of fatherhood with me.
